Getting around Miami is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I have subscribed to Imagine Farms since it's inception. I receive boxes of lettuce and salad dressing every two weeks; the lettuce and greens are like no other. Delicious, fresh and nutritious. Recently I attended a "Tour and Tasting" at Imagine Farms. I was able see how and where the many different types of lettuce are grown hydroponically. This system grows lettuce not in soil but in a system that supplies lettuce with nutrient rich solutions, oxygen, and water. There is rapid growth with stronger yields of superior quality. Guests tasted four different types of lettuce, deliciously dressed. Cheryl and Lisa are knowledgable; their presentation of information was very informative.

As a veterinary student, my class and I had the privilege to experience a virtual tour of this wonderful farm, Box Greens. Our host, Liza Merkle, was wonderful, every question we had was answered thoroughly. It was very interesting to learn that plants could grow from water and LED lights. Overall a great presentation and one I would highly recommend, they will be adding more vegetables to their crop soon so there is more to come!

Monday my class had the pleasure of experiencing a virtual field trip from box greens. They taught us all about how their system works and the procedures of their planting. Lisa Merkle was our hostess for the tour and she was great! She didn't dismiss any question we had to ask and she was very respectable. It was very cool to learn how they can grow produce with just water and led lights. I'm so glad they were able to come to our class and teach us. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND:)

Box Greens made a very impactful presentation to my class. I learned so much about this new method of farming and how efficient and environmentally sustainable it is. I loved how she was very thorough throughout the presentation, and how she was excited about answering the questions we provided. I learned a lot of things such as, how they grow around 100 pounds of lettuce per week, and how this method of farming, hydroponic farming, uses 90% less water than regular or traditional farming might.

Box Greens grows the most delicious lettuce I have ever tasted. The dressings are unique and creative and add something special to every meal. I also appreciate the fast and efficient delivery service. Most of all I love sourcing locally grown lettuce from farmers invested in growing and making products with LOVE!
